Chuck Jones’ “Super Rabbit” was a spoof of the popular “Superman” cartoons
being produced at Paramount Studios at the time. Who can forget “Brick-a, Brack-a,
Firecracker, Sis-Boom-Bah, Bugs Bunny, Bugs Bunny, Rah! Rah! Rah!”? Original Bugs Bunny model drawing by Chuck
Jones for “Super Rabbit,” graphite on 12 field animation paper.
Wow, what a nice early image of Bugs by Chuck. It would be a few years before Chuck really infused Bugs with his own style.
THAT is a gem. Why doesn’t anybody draw this good any more?
