If you own a terrier (of any kind, part-terriers included) you'll understand why Claude Cat is so nervous. Terrier Stricken bow-wowed in theaters on November 29, 1953 and starred Claude Cat (minus the mice Hubie and Bertie) and Frisky Puppy. The above layout drawing by Chuck Jones is an excellent example of the fast tiptoe as executed by Claude, who thinks (mistakenly) that he's about to spring a surprise on Frisky.
Beautiful examples of Chuck’s artistic mastery in facial expressions, body language & timing!!
