Dan Mackin is a world-renowned artist who has captured, on canvas, his memories of his exotic sailing trips and travels to the Caribbean, Bahamas, South Pacific, Asia, Amazon River and the glorious surfing beaches of his native Southern California. After returning from Viet Nam, Mackin sailed the west coast of Mexico and Central America. During this sailing trip, his camera fell overboard and as a consequence he began to sketch and then paint the vistas before him. An award-winning artist, Dan Mackin was inducted into the Surfing Hall of Fame in 2001. He has also personally raised over a million dollars for the National Kidney Foundation during the last fifteen years. Mackin's work is simple; he takes us all on a journey to paradise every time his paintbrush touches the surface of a new canvas.

Brian Wilson is one of Rock and Roll's most deeply revered figures. The legendary singer, producer, arranger and concert performer is one of the most influential pop composers of all time; inducted into not only the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, but also the Songwriters Hall of Fame. Wilson's music is considered by many to be the epitome of the California surf lifestyle and he continues to tour throughout the world.
After the tragic death of his young son, Mackin fell into a creative dry spell. Introduced to Wilson, through a mutual friend who had declared, "You paint what Brian sings about; you should work together," Mackin found renewed creativity through this unlikely relationship. The results have captivated collectors around the world.
