I've had this day circled on my calender for months!!!

As for my favorite on the list, whenever someone asks for my favorite CJ cartoons, I simply say 1938-1996 (it's easier than listing 300 titles).

...and this is why I love my TiVo. My wife may never really understand my love of cartoons, but this way I can feed my addiction without having to bother her.

I was only able to catch a few of the cartoons, but how wonderful that TCM chose to feature Chuck Jones for the evening! I'm very sorry I missed his "Memories of Childhood" because I would have loved to have heard about his early days.

before I discovered this post. As a parent I really love seeing children watching these cartoons for the first time and enjoying them as much as I did. It's amazing how kids can spot quality, and naturally gravitate towards the old classics.
