Chuck Jones: March 24th~ Turner Classic Movies Documentary Debut

Just a quick reminder of that Chuck Jones: Memories of Childhood debuts Tuesday, March 24th at 8pm.  Turner Classic Movies has followed it with a full tribute of films.  They have chosen a great selection of his films including some films you just don't get a chance to see very often.

I would be interested to hear your favorites from the list below.

I've had this day circled on my calender for months!!!

As for my favorite on the list, whenever someone asks for my favorite CJ cartoons, I simply say 1938-1996 (it's easier than listing 300 titles).

I was only able to catch a few of the cartoons, but how wonderful that TCM chose to feature Chuck Jones for the evening! I'm very sorry I missed his "Memories of Childhood" because I would have loved to have heard about his early days.

before I discovered this post. As a parent I really love seeing children watching these cartoons for the first time and enjoying them as much as I did. It's amazing how kids can spot quality, and naturally gravitate towards the old classics.
